Mindful Eating

Program

Mindful Eating is built around a steady rhythm of focused practice followed by rest. Each six-week session explores one area of eating, health, or habit formation, followed by a one-week sabbatical pause for reflection and rest. This is not about doing everything perfectly, but about learning, noticing, and choosing wisely over time.

Rhythm: 6 Weeks ON · 1 Week OFF

Weeks run Thursday-Wednesday

Mindful Eating is built around a steady rhythm of focused practice followed by rest. Each six-week session explores one area of eating, health, or habit formation, followed by a one-week sabbatical pause for reflection and rest. This is not about doing everything perfectly, but about learning, noticing, and choosing wisely over time.

This group is especially helpful for women who feel ready for gentle structure, shared accountability, and steady change rather than quick fixes.

Session Enrollment & Fee Policy

The fee system adds a small, tangible layer of accountability that helps turn good intentions into mindful choices.

  • To enroll in a session, each participant pays a $20 session admin fee up front. This fee secures a place in the group and supports the administration of the program.

  • In addition, a $5 slip fee is added for each accountability slip during the session.

  • Slip fees are self-tracked and reported honestly by each participant.

  • Slip fees are paid after the completion of Week 6.

Distribution of Slip Fees

  • All slip fees are pooled at the end of the session.

  • The pooled amount is divided evenly among participants with the lowest total slip fees — beginning with zero. If no one has zero, distribution moves to those with one slip fee, then two, and so forth.

  • The $20 session admin fee is retained and is not included in the distribution.

If a Participant Drops Out

  • The $20 session admin fee is non-refundable.

  • Any accumulated slip fees are still owed.

  • Participants who drop out do not receive a share of the pooled slip fees.

Unforeseen Circumstances:

Occasionally life brings unexpected events — a serious illness, injury, family emergency, or a situation that suddenly changes normal life. When circumstances like these arise, they will be handled with grace, and reasonable alternate plans are allowed. This provision is meant for true disruptions to normal life, not everyday illnesses or routine schedule changes.

Mindful Eating Participant Agreement

Mindful Eating was created by and is intended for women who believe in Jesus Christ and have a personal relationship with Him. I am part of a church that practices the teachings of Jesus, and as part of my faith, I dress modestly and veil my head. I share this simply for awareness and transparency.

By joining the Mindful Eating Accountability Group, I agree to the following:

  • This is not a diet program and does not replace medical advice.

  • The focus of this group is moderation, temperance, and awareness, not perfection.

  • I understand the group follows a six-weeks-on, one-week-off sabbatical rhythm, and that rest is a meaningful part of the process.

  • Each session includes two shared group goals. In addition, I will set two personal goals appropriate to my own season of life.

  • I commit to honest participation, including regular check-ins via cloudveil/telegram.

  • Accountability is handled with grace. When I knowingly choose to step outside the agreed personal and group goals, I accept the $5 slip fee per incident as a reminder to stay intentional—not as punishment. Accountability slips include booth personal goals and group goals.

  • I understand that I am allowed off days each session.

  • I will treat others with respect, discretion, and confidentiality.
